We visited the Terrace today for a Christmas holiday breakfast treat and what a treat it was. Hands down one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had! I had the vegetarian breakfast which was not just your usual (egg, tomato, hash brown and some kind of veg sausage) it was considered, colourful, nutritious and absolutely delicious. The poached eggs were perfect! I also had gluten free toast (gluten free bread is usually awful and much of an after thought in restaurants) but the bread that was served was also very good. My daughter had the French toast which also looked yummy! The waitress was polite and attentive and the place itself is classy and spotless. All in all it was really lovely. We will absolutely return and highly recommend!

On a recent cycle ride to Loddon, we stopped at 'The Terrace at Loddon' for a light bite & coffee. We had not visited before. What a delightful experience. This is a smart bistro with a relaxing outside seating & eating area. The service was superb, the food was fresh and presented perfectly and the coffee was exceptionally good. The problem we had was that we could have easily stayed longer and eaten more but we had to cycle 20 miles back to Filby. Well worth the trip there. Thank you Team@The Terrace - We highly recommend a visit.

What a great space. Our server didn't know what cake they had, and fumbled her way through our service but we didn't mind. Very welcoming to cyclists. They had frozen vegan cheese cake. That was the only option. The topping was yummy, the base was wet. Our server didn't know what the base was made of. It wasn't biscuit.
Great out door area next to the church. Really enjoyed my visit ☺

Everything looked lovely until I had a mouthful of the large slice of sausage roll which was very cold in the middle, so I left it and ate the rest which was very nice. I told the waitress about the cold centred sausage roll and the manager soon came over, I told him that it had not been reheated properly and it could cause food poisoning. He replied that as it was already cooked so there is no chance of food poisoning! Cooked meats are high risk and must be reheated to 70’ or above for at least 2 minutes. It’s alarming that the manager doesn’t know basic food safety standards!

We have been to The Terrace a few times now and have found the quality of food very good. Just a shame they ran out of scones, they truly are the best fruit scones I have ever had!! The menu has some lovely options and being sourced locally makes a big difference. It’s a perfect location right next to the car park. The seating outside has been well thought out with spacing and sails above the tables to keep customers in the shade when it’s sunny. There is a clean well stocked Children's area for tots to play.
The owners are more than happy for customers to have just a coffee and do not harass you to order food which is lovely.

As a Norfolk devotee we enjoy anything that represents our county and this cafe/restaurant is one of the best! Great staff, good food and dog and people friendly. Good garden with disabled access and a menu that represents good value for money. Seating on three sides enables the best people watching opportunities we know! Inside is also lovely. A real gem!

Went a couple of years ago. Wanted a breakfast. Only option had puff pastry with rosemary? What the .....? Didn't bother. Had a thin latte while friends had a bacon and egg sandwich which had to be requested. Cutlery thrown on to table by sour faced waitress. Never went back. Wish it was a great Italian instead.
