Welcoming safe space with gorgeous coffee and sweet treats in the cafe area! James and Sarah are the loveliest people! ADHD workshops are great as was the Xmas market. The other workshops I've not been to yet look interesting, always a good range of things going on! Good selection of plastic free items for gifts and treats as well as day to day ingredients. I love the self serve but on days where I'm struggling to use this James and Sarah are very helpful and I barely need to ask for help. The bread is yum!

Just gotta say, wow. This place is spectacular, affordable, and covid safe!! They have a huge selection of stuff, things I didn't even realize I could get without plastic! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Even if you don't care about packaging, the fact that you can get large quantities of things without purchasing a bunch of small packages is spectacular.

I popped in with my Mum and neice. It was such a lovely experience, and the range of products was fantastic- if we couldn't find what we were looking for then help was right at hand. Oh and coffee and cake- I can't wait for my next visit!

Very friendly, reasonably priced and a great choice of products. The bus stops pretty much right outside too so it is easy to get to. I'm often in Durham so will be using this shop for my household and toiletry refills from now on. We need more places like this across the county!

I've been visiting this little shop on a weekly basis for a couple of months now and I think it's great. You're always warmly welcomed by James and Sarah and it's kept absolutely spotless. It's packed with lots of local goods such as organic milk, honey, free range eggs and sourdough bread. There's also a huge selection of dried foods, cleaning products, flour, tea coffee and lots more household items. The amount of packaging used for food and goods, which is not recyclable these days is ridiculous, so I really like the concept of this shop which tries to encourage us all to be 'zero waste shoppers'. Take your own containers to be weighed and refilled! If it means doing a little detour whilst out in the car, pay this shop a visit and shop local.

First visit the other day, beautiful shop and really nice staff. Easy to park outside in the bays. Good range of unpackaged food and some lovely household products and toiletries. They’ve now got a coffee machine in, and the coffee was great - take your own reusable cup and they will fill that and save on a disposable one.

Excellent place. Untill recently you needed to remember to take your own containers with you. Now you can choose to use some recycled small jars. Check under the electronic scales. Much more convenient, also I hope the owners of the shop stick to this strategy (I appreciate they need to wash up the recycled jars).
There is always something interesting to buy in this shop: spices, pasta, washing up sponge, flour, etc. etc.
The owner is behind the counter, very friendly, always happy to help. Wonderful place!
