First time going today with my daughter and her fiancée we both bought buy one get one free mystery boxes for £20 that's a tenner per box. Looking through them both I've got a bag of stuff I wanted to keep for myself, and then 2 bags of stuff to sell including 23 phonecases that I'll easily make my money back with profit to go buy more boxes. Great for presents and stuff for the home and lots of gadgets in them mine had several portable phone charges

Talking about the saltney store unit. It is smaller than the others locally. It's just tighter with the amount of shelving and stock. There was less people luckily on my visit otherwise walking around does come difficult. There are only a few trollies supplied, plenty of wheelie baskets though.

Casual buyers beware, we visited the saltney store yesterday, picking up a few items, boxes are taped closed, you are asked not to open them, but you can open them at the till, some items are marked untested, I strongly advise you to have them opened. A lesson learned for us, we purchased a Rigid Power Spin Drain Cleaner for £20, literally money down the drain, on opening the box at home it was used, rusted broken bits and parts missing, also an expanding curtain rod we bought had broken fixings so is completely useless, my daughter purchased a Paper Shredder that on opening at home was used, jammed with paper and the shredding blades were rusted, I believe this is a very clever way of selling on damaged, faulty and literally boxes of rubbish, even a brand new toy we bought for our grand son had damaged parts, be very aware, what you think you're buying may not be what you get, and you are stuck with it! Sold as seen! My advice open everything even if you have loads and there's is a que, the management are well rehearsed in their reiteration of their returns policy, you have to wonder why! Very very disappointing experience.

A bit claustrophobic compared to the one by cosco but still have found some great bargains there ie a pair of decent garden folding chairs for £5 the pair

A lot smaller than the one in Ellesmere port but with the same amount of stock making it really difficult to have a good look at everything. Also the ailse are quite tight so it is difficult to get around if you have a basket and impossible
If you have a trolley. That being said there are still some serious bargains to be had if you are will to take the time to have a look.

We really wanted to like this place and the idea behind it is good but the reality is a mess...

The biggest issue we have is we spent a couple of quid, went to the till cash in hand "sorry we don't take cash"... with an under £2 purchase they would of been better to have refused sale than take card with fees etc. Cash is always king.

The place is very cold inside and the "stock" just seems to be thrown anywhere on the shelves. 90% seems to be bin fodder.

The items that are easily identified are not that cheap.

If your local it's worth a look but not somewhere to travel for.

Lots of random items for sale, an ever changing list. You have to visit to see what's on offer.

Shelves can be stacked a bit randomly it seems. Most of the goods seem to have come from China and are typically returns or otherwise unwanted items.

If you're after a bargain but have no pre-conceived ideas what that bargain might be, then this is your place.
