On day we went, was little heating, and the door was almost constantly open, ended up frozen despite a thick coat. Great for dog lovers, place was packed with them. Long queues due to so many coffees being ordered. Food was OK, but limited menu. Came out nice and hot, but was just not my favourite.. Needs a separate queue for coffees. Needs a bit more heat in the winter, apparently they normally have a fire going.

Very cosy unique pub/cafe/restaurant. Our favourite local. Fire indoors in the winter and great outside seating. Excellent place to stop in during a beautiful canal walk. Dog friendly with free dog treats! Excellent selection of local ciders, ales and lagers. Best hot chocolate!!

Me and my girlfriend Ellie came down to Kent for the day to visit the nearby Wildlife reserve and did not regret coming here. Julie, Tash & Steve were incredibly lovely & accommodating people, even offering us complimentary food to help give feedback as taste testers for their upcoming Fish & Chips themed kitchen night at the time! Great atmosphere, dog-friendly, super cosy, little local place to grab a pint, eat a little grub and chat the night away!

10/10 would come again if we're ever in the area!

Nice walk along the canal path brings you to this little gem of a pub/diner. The inside has a nice atmosphere with a welcoming log fire. The menu changes daily.
Dogs are welcome, and little pots of treats are available for them.
There is plenty of seating outside, but on a cold day, it's inside by the fire for me with a glass of mulled cider.

We stopped here for lunch today. We enjoyed sandwiches that come with a good side salad and crisps, all for a great price. Staff were fantastic, providing service with a smile. The pub is in a great location next to a public car park, alongside the Royal Military Canal and on a public path leading to Hythe. The pub is immaculate inside and out where tables and parasols are available for eating alfresco.

Loved this place absolutely brilliant! Super friendly staff and a lovely outdoor seating area. Inside was very spacious and cozy too.
It's very popular with locals and tourists alike.
There's a small "industrial estate" behind and one of the units is a micro brewery (Hop Fuzz) you can sample there produce in Unit 1, actually it'd be rude not too!
Thursday's are Pizza night and quite honestly these are some of the best pizzas you will find outside of Italy. Other nights they have a pop up kitchen and the menu is very different but also delicious. If you want to check the menu you'll need to check their web site.
In short this place is amazing if you don't visit then you will have missed out on an absolute gem of a place!

Lovely hidden place close to a peaceful area and nice surroundings. Cosy atmosphere, kind attention and awesome food and beers at a reasonable price. Definitely great! I wish I lived closer.
