The best shop in Brighton! Have been going here for many years, would like to see less clothes & more homeware (the way it used to be) but nevertheless, still lots of unique & wonderful things to buy here oh don’t see anywhere else. The staff are lush too

Hands down my FAVOURITE shop in Brighton, the UK, and possibly the world! The team is super friendly, the clothes are divine, and it is the most relaxed and welcoming space to shop. I struggle with my body post baby and the team helped me find clothes to fit my new figure in such a supportive and generous way. I cannot thank you enough! This Mum appreciates you all so much x

Libby really helped me piece together several outfits, suggesting matching items, and bringing me different sizes. So helpful 🙏. Managed to pull together 3 outfits in half an hour - amazing, would have taken me all day on my own! Great staff here, and wonderful selection. Added bonus of supporting a local independent store!

Another of my favourite places/shops in Hove to go and my Mum loves it too.Always bright, sparkly and interesting with lots of nice stuff for your home and you. Right now perfect for Xmas decoration bargains....hence I bought a glittery pumpkin for £2...coolio!

I’ve just discovered this gem of a shop!!! Love it!! I was feeling so bored of all the usual shop offerings in the chain stores and nearly booked a flight to Spain or Italy just to buy some tasteful clothes! Then I was introduced to Velvet! Some really nice pieces in here that are not run of the mill. Lovely shop assistants also. Brilliantly reasonable prices, and fantastic sale. This is now my favourite shop 🫶🏽. Thank you Velvet for being a bit different!

Love this store! The clothes are mostly everyday wear, in style, comfortable and affordable, and generally well stocked with sizes. The accessories and trinkets are expensive but super cute. They also change up their window display quite frequently, it always looks fab!
