Not what it used to be, but then the same can be said for the whole of the town centre! A sign of the times. Businesses just not investing in physical stores any more with online shopping becoming more prevalent and cost of living crisis. Needs more variety here

The Victoria Centre in Crewe has unfortunately become a rather dismal place to visit. Walking through it feels more like navigating a demilitarized zone than a shopping center. The atmosphere is bleak, with many closed stores and empty units that give the place an abandoned, rundown feel.

Adding to the discomfort are the groups of homeless people and odd characters that often linger around the center. While homelessness is a serious issue that deserves compassion and support, the sheer number of people loitering around, combined with the general state of neglect, creates an unsettling environment for shoppers.

The few stores that remain open do little to lift the overall mood of the place. It’s a shame to see what was once a bustling center fall into such a state of disrepair. Unless significant improvements are made, it’s hard to see Victoria Centre in Crewe reclaiming its former vibrancy. For now, it’s a place to avoid unless you have no other option.

What a shame Crewe has gone like this, the Victoria Centre used to be bustling with a good atmosphere, but Crewe Centre has gone so downhill it can't get back up, once again a thriving place to visit and shop destroyed by online shopping and Covid lockdown.

Victoria Centre is a convenient place for shopping. Whether you're looking for groceries, clothing, or other essentials, having everything in one location can be quite convenient.
