we went on the 5/11/23 and brought one of there block of lasagne
come tuesday the wife microwave it for a good while cut it in half for us both for dinner between us yes it was hot to eat we had only had a few mouth full it did have an strange taste to it. come later on in the night time both me and the wife was very sick for two days after we had nothing else to eat that day.phone them was told that all there lasagne was cooked the day before and last for 3-5 days. and said to me over the phone what you want me to do about it as if he didn't care

Just wow! Their fresh meat is first class, the sausages in particular are amazing. Also had the best steaks for quite some time from here too. They also have larger packs of meats which are good for freezing.

The cooked meat counter has amazing pies, samosas, baked ham, delicious quiches, scotch eggs and so on....this placed saved me as I recently moved to the area and was struggling to find a good butchers. Well I have to travel 6 miles but its well worth it!

Really poor experience. Bought a Turkey crown which needed to be used that same day. Realised this while still at Woodlands so returned it. The manager agreed to get me a fresh one but proceeded to put it on the scales at £12.99 not £8.99 a kilo. He wasn’t pleased when this was pointed out. He then re weighed it st the correct price and it was £6 and some cheaper. He then gave me £5 from the till. Really awful have complained and guess what that’s not been dealt with either.

Brought two different samosas one lamb and one chicken tika. Horrible and tasteless. There suppose to be tasty not bland just awful. They look fantastic but Realy horrible waste of money. Full of crunchy onions and the mush must of been the meat? No taste at all 🙄🤔

Good quality food. A lot of home produced pies, quiches and savouries, plus in house cooked meats. Also everything that you would expect from a good butchers!

Was really disappointed with the onion bhajis bought yesterday. They were very dry and the onion was none existent.
They were quite large and looked very nice, but texture and quality wasn't up to the usual high quality had previously.

We had the meat for all of our Christmas from Stapleton. We are all agreed that, what we had, was without doubt, the best we've ever had. Can't recommend it enough. We will definitely go back and get similar next year and in between too. Perfect!
