I’ve just ordered a cook breakfast that was served toast without butter had to visit the till to then be told they had ran out of sachets - so past 3 hard chunks of frozen butter in a small pot. Got to the black pudding served raw and semi frozen 🤢 The young guy behind the counter very polite and friendly but the other staff could learn to smile more. Sadly, I won’t be returning came in today after awful surgery and first day out since my operations.

Lovely lunchtime visit, bit slow at the checkout, but overall very nice experience. Combine this with a leisurely stroll around the garden centre and yes..... most pleasant.

Come in today to try this cafe after it being recommended to us had two coffees which were brilliant we also ordered two chip cobs which came out as a sandwich 🤨 my partner is pregnant and was looking forward for chips as one of her cravings so it came out and there were hardly any chip’s plus they were cold I took these back which the staff was polite and said she will exchange them when we had them second time it was like they had been microwaved quickly after like they had been sitting and quickly nuked 😳 need to get rid of chef mikešŸ˜‚

Called here with a friend today, I ordered the fish finger sandwich which came with chips and mushy pease my friend had cheesy chips and onion rings. Can’t complain about the service as the young girl that served me couldn’t have helped more. Very polite, well spoken and looked presentable and went out of her way to help. But I was let down by the food, there was barely any fish in the sandwich and it was greasy, the mayo is the worst I have ever tasted and ruined my sandwich it was that bad. Definitely need to change the brand. The cheesy chips were also just greasy leaving a puddle and the bottom of the bowl. Wish I had taken pictures to show to be fair.

Very disappointed...... Variety of food options not good enough. No sandwich option which is strange when you look around and see how many older people there are. I ordered an egg mayo baguette (without black pepper). Almost impossible to eat, even with a knife and fork! The roll was cut across the top like you would for a hot dog. No butter or margarine and then chunky (very tasty) egg mayo just piled on top. If it had been sliced open properly it might have been better, but a sandwich would be so much better. Very overpriced too at £7.50!
I guess the costs have increased to cover the refurbished restaurant and play area!?........

My wife and I have been coming here for several years. Unfortunately we have noticed a deterioration in the time it takes to get served and the quality of the hot drinks.
It is a pleasant cafe to sit in but it seems good well trained staff have left and this has led to poorer service and quality of the coffee drinks served.
