West Runton Village Store

My autistic son was having a bit of a moment in the shop today, the staff (I presume the owners) were just absolutely lovely with him. Very patient and caring. Even offered me some of their personal experiences to help put my mind at rest. I was incredibly grateful to them both. Great little shop, very well stocked and several local products too. 10/10

I've shopped here since 1999. It's had a few different owners but the ethos has always been the same. Great choice of products both mainstream and county. Try the Norfolk Shortcake.

This is a really fantastic local village store and post office. A great deal of time, effort and money has clearly been spent on creating a perfect blend of the traditional and modern. It offers a really varied stock of the basics and also an excellent range of high quality options and local produce. I’ve used West Runton Village Stores many times in the year or so that I’ve lived in the area and I’ve always been met with smiles, helpful advice and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude from Stuart, Andrea, Hattie, Emily and anyone else that I haven’t mentioned. I can’t speak highly enough, and it’s a shining example for all similar businesses to follow. In fact, it was recently awarded the deserved accolade of best Retail Shop and Post Office in the country by beating over 11,500 other stores! What a Aladdin's cave of tasty treats. The shop is very thoughtful of what food they stock and cater for everyone. My kids love the sweet aisle. Being a total foody, I love the variety of the usual. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A real asset to locals and holiday makers alike. See you in the summer, please make sure you are still selling those scotch eggs, they look delicious

Lovely place. The post office staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The shop is transformed since the recent makover - it's all shiny, bright and fresh now. For staff and service the West Runton post office definitely deserves 5 stars from me!

Opening hours for shop much better than post office hours. Hobgoblin Gold in fridge, Norfolk Pasties with excellent shortcrust pastry, bakewell slices and amazing chocolate brownie made partially from weetabix

West Runton village store has a friendly atmosphere with lots of local produce , the staff are always willing to help and advise you on anything, there are lots of goodies to have a browse at and It is just a lovely shop in general
