We’re butchers too, so the only place we will buy meat from is another butcher.
They’re good - very good !
Great service, friendly and efficient.
Produce is local and good quality - everything a local butcher should be.
I tried a pork pie (always good to see what your peers are doing !)) and it was very nice.
I’ll let you know about the pork steaks and Lincolnshire sausage when they’re cooked and devoured - haha.

Update: The Lincolnshire sausages were spot on !

Parkin Butchers are by far the best butchers I have yet found. The level of service is fantastic, if they haven't got the cut of meat you want, they cut it for you there and then. The quality of the meat is outstanding, more than compensating for the small price differential between them and the supermarkets. Their speciality prepared meats such as their chicken Kiev, their kebabs and their amazing 'Jack's Special' sausages have to tasted to be believed. They also have an excellent range of cooked meats, they provide delicious rolls to take away, there are cheeses some greengrocery and general grocery. All in all a fantastic shop that can't be too highly recommend!!
