Pros - Really great staff and security were helpful and friendly. Had some big names and good tunes. Great to have free drinking water available.
Cons - Portaloos being outside not a huge problem, but not having lights in them was entirely problematic! No bins for period products and loo roll ran out pretty quick and wasn't replaced. Getting from the inside to outside area/toilets on a night that was sold out was an absolute horror, would be good to put in some sort of flow system. No disabled toilet provided.

Some good and some bad points with this place for live music. The bad. Potalloos in the smoking area. Who wants to use a portaloo at an indoor event? The mech stall looked like an afterthought.
The good. Pretty good location. Easy access if driving. With onsite parking. Decent live sound.
Massive bar.

Wicked venue.
If you’re of an age and grew up with Rave Culture.
Remember Thatcher and her cronies.
Remember underground raves and venues.

Then this will take you back to the inception of modern dance music and the surrounding culture.

We went to the Stanton Sessions, which was superb. A complete mix of generations, proper old ravers, gen x, gen z, millennials. All were there. All were the same mindset.
It was just an incredible atmosphere, everyone was totally chill and there was no trouble at all.

Loved it. Will be going back. With my glow sticks next time!

This venue was lit, the service was great, and there was no long wait at the bar. The outside area to smoke was big and spacious. I will definitely be going back to this venue.

Awesome first night, kicking off this venue. Blown away by the staging! Looking forward to pineapple records next week, and Blowpop in November.

Went last to the Alternate Apocalypse last night. Line-up and music on the night was brilliant, but the venue definitely not.
Was dangerously warm in there (pretty sure there was air-con units but they weren't turned on)
Sound systems weren't great and quite tinny.
Queues for the bar were massive and it seemed so unorganised, and there wasn't even fridges.
Felt like literally a school hall, with harsh wood vinyl flooring too.
Oh and they run out of bottled water before midnight, although they were very on it with the tap water jugs.
Temperature changed the vibe in there, too hot to dance properly which was very disappointing and unsafe for the people in there.
