I do wish I could get everything I need from your shop in Dover but I understand it's a smaller supermarket. I've used all the supermarkets in the area over time and the staff here are the best there are..after another wonderful encounter this morning at the supermarket across the road with the usual miserable and unhelpful member of staff I wish I didn't have to shop anywhere else but Asda but unfortunately I'm limited due to health reasons. You should be very proud of your staff they are all polite and courteous and a pleasure to pass the time of day with

I love this store. The location is good, the selection is good, the prices are good but the significant 'stand out' for me is the staff. They are friendly, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble.

We went to Asda in Chalton Centre yesterday unfortunately to return something.
As I was instructed on the phone.
On arrival I was told they couldn't do it without a code which we'd need to obtain online.
The young lady in store then said if you've got the app I can get it sorted for you in minutes.
True to her word she sorted the problem, took our return. Sorted.
She and her colleagues were so very helpful, friendly and very kind.
Very Grateful to them.

We went to the Dover store today and needed assistance to reach some shloer from the very top shelves as they were in the packaging in packs of 12 I asked an assistant to help imediately he called over the tanoy for an assistant we walked to the shelves where the items were, within 30 seconds an assistant came asked what we required we told him he replied one minute I will get some steps within the minute he returned reached the 2 packs that we required and put them into the trolley for us, got down off the step and asked if there was anything else he could do, to which we replied that there wasn't and thanked him we then went to the checkout where the cashier was very helpful and scanned the items in the trolley. During the whole visit the attitude of the staff was amazing they couldn't have been better or Happier to assist.
As it said on their uniform HAPPY TO HELP. and they were it was service like we used to get but is sadly missing in these troubled times

Pretty good shop - not very big so only the basics really but the staff are very friendly. When the care home I work at got burgled a few years ago and they took all the food out of the kitchen, this Asda gifted us with several large boxes of replacement food.

Small store but has all the basics you need for a top up shop. I tend to use the self service check outs but whenever they play up no one comes to help you and staff look annoyed if you ask for help even though they've been on the tills ignoring you for 5 minutes. Have felt like abandoning my shop at times as not worth the hassle.
