Extremely disappointed with my visit today at Asda. I go there for my regular shop never had a problem. However, today when I visited the store I waited at the till as I had shopping around £100. I put items on the till and one of employee came up to and said that I had to use a self check I ask what was the reason. She said that there weren’t enough employees. I proceeded to say that I’m happy to wait as I had lots of shopping as their self check aren’t sufficient enough for a big shop. One of her other employees came and proceeded to tell me that I had to either leave my shopping or go to the self check out. I decide that I would leave the store when walking out the employee followed me shouting infront of all the customers that I had to put all the iteams back. I explained to her look I come here every week I’m a regular customer you have no problem saving me at the till normally. I’ll wait understand your busy. Instead she told me infront of many customers and the security that I cannot return to the store.

I would like an apologies from the employee as there was no need to embarrassed in front of the general public. I was doing as I was told her and her colleagues only gave me two options either I can leave my shopping there or use self check. So when I did chose to the leave the shop I was then harassed by her college. Even the Asda security guard said that she was being rude. When I said would like to know your name in order to complain. She walked off and refused to give me her name. This has been a horrible experience and I would like Asda Manger to take further action.

I had an online return to take back. After being told I cannot return it due to it not being in the original shipping packaging I was then told I can. I was told to print the QR code and then place it in the returns slot. After scanning and placing this on I then placed in the returns slot a member of staff then came over and said you didn’t put it in there did you? To which I replied yes I was told to by another member of staff. The member of staff then scoffed at me and told me I would have broken it and then walked off, mumbling under his breath. I have never met such a rude person at any ASDA store.

For some reason they seem to prioritise cooking whole chickens for 9am but no breakfast items!! Regularly visit here on a morning and never seem to have any Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, bacon/sausage baps ready but always have multiple whole chickens ready like who eats that for breakfast?

It pains me to be critical about this store. The staff are absolutely lovely and the range is good for small store.
The quality of the veg is shocking. Multiple times I have taken things home to discover they're rotting. Now there is no best before dates it seems stock rotation isn't happening as it should. Come on Asda you're letting yourselves down!

I came twice this morning hoping to get some fresh pastries for breakfast..

They were already baked the first time I came but not yet labelled.
I went for a walk thinking surely it wouldn't take long..
I came back about an hour later and they were still not out, and the women there were instead assembling pizzas..

You have a completely empty shelf and zero pastries available to buy at breakfast time and your priority is instead to assemble pizzas
Who taught you how to do your job?

I asked the lady there and she simply told me "they're not out yet"..
How about you put them out before it's lunch time then?

Killed some time off in this Asda , not much there. No clothes just wanted a cardigan lol and the whole shop was freezing. A lot of missing items.
