Just picked Barney up after 11 days. He is a very affectionate but boisterous Golden Doodle aged 19 months. He bounded out of the kennels in exactly the same way as he bounded in. He has been going there since he was 6 months old. He loves going in and he is always very happy to come home mainly to catch up on his sleep. I’ve used these kennels for all of my dogs over the last 20 years. They are extremely professional, caring people and I know that he is well looked after whilst he is in their care. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending these kennels to anyone wanting their beloved dog looked after whilst they are away.

Lovely staff, our dog stayed for a week here last week staff were lovely! My son was rushed to a&e we couldn’t get her on the day agreed to collect they were literally straight away don’t worry we can keep summer here! No issue at all! She has come home from a kennel for the first time in 2 years with 0 injuries and a bark usually she has cuts and has lost her voice!! We will definitely be back! She is a hectic BC! When I asked for feedback they were very honest!

My dog had a lovely stay at Chilworth kennels. I was a bit apprehensive leaving him as hes not spent much time in kennels but he’d clearly had a great time. He was greeted with hugs from the staff and came home happy. Staff were polite and friendly and happy to help with any worries I had.

I had to put my beautiful babies into kennels and this kennel was grate, got the dogs back and they seem fine and happy and a little bit dirty which means you know they been out which is good. They provide food and water so within the cost it’s good. Didn’t get to see the inside bit of kennels but understand it will cause other dogs to go hectic. You don’t really get update about your dog so you don’t know how they are, would of loved one but I get it if your busy, would of just help customers knowing there dog all okay. Young lad was shy but when I brought my dogs in he was all over them so not a people person but happy he was a dog person. The main thing is my dogs was happy

Our dogs stayed here for a few days and seemed ok, but our male border has had what can only be described as a sore throat since coming back several weeks ago now. He likes to 'sing' to certain music, and we've noticed his voice is cracked and not how he was so
I suspect a choke chain was used on him. As an energetic border, he does pull on a lead, so a choke chain is literally the worst thing to use on him.
He stayed there a long while back and came back the same way then.
We only used this kennel again as nowhere else had spaces, and it had been some time since we'd used them with some ok feedback since that time, but it seems little has changed.

As someone else has said, 'Kennels of last resort', but after two stays that have caused issues with our boy, I won't be back.

We left our dog here for 11 nights whilst we went on holiday as our usual kennels were fully booked. Safe to say we are now going to swap to chilworth as our go to. Our dog came back clean, happy, well rested and fed. We emailed whilst away to make sure he was okay and got a detailed & prompt response. Thank you chilworth kennels, for taking great care of our lovely boy.

My mum left her dog why she went away came back a week later collected her she was frightened and soiled wasn’t looked after at all .jack who I spoke to was no help at all these kennels need better owners.mr c Armstrong is an absolute disgrace smelt of alcohol. Don’t recommend at all bad behaviour alround very unpleasant place. Look for a better place to leave your loved one ?
