Problems with the Parking Eye monitoring service have led me to curtail any use of this co-op supermarket. The 3rd party ‘enforcement’ service has become over zealous with its charging and I won’t use it any longer. As a local, that should be exactly what the Co-op do not want, it will result in more loss of custom unless Parking Eye change their menacing approach.

When you are in a position to help a hunan being and you act otherwise, You are a bad person, not just bad employee. I was sick with high fever and a very bad sore throat. I came in the shop and helped myself with some medicine. I finish the transaction at 21:57 exactly. The time i stepped outside the shop a woman locked the door behind me. That very moment i remembered that i needed sth to make a hot drink at the hotel. The time was exactly 21:58. The woman refused constantly to help me, although i told her that i was sick. (i bought counterfever pills just a moment ago) and definately she could see that i was not well. She kept arguing with me until the time was 22:01. Then she started being unpolite teling me that her job has nothing to do with my illness and locked the door.
Travellers from abroad gives life to such shops and must be treated with a much better way. When a foreign person is sick in your country and needs help you help him. No questions asked. You are not only a bad employee but a bad person too.

You can park in the carpark for it as it's part of the merrythought village although I thought signage wasn't clear about this. Free parking. Or there is a pay and display next door by the lovely river Severn which also has toilets . Co-Op is In a heritage building and has a average selection of food and helpful staff.

This is a lovely Co-op, great for ales and nice sandwiches. My daughter, Dimonelle, loves the eggs they sell. She says "very yellow", but she says this about most things. Well done the Co-op, Coalbrookdale.

Bit of a strange one. The building itself and quality of food is impeccable like all Co-operative supermarkets. Got to the till however, my partner bought some alcohol (We are both 25), We totally understand and co-operate when asked for ID as we are both baby-faced, however cashier just stared us up and down with a look as if to say 'there's no way you're old enough', just felt it was quite rude when a simple 'Can I see your id would suffice..' When we gave id no apology for the stare, just oh you're way older than I thought - just a bit odd, other than that lovely local co-op ☺️

This is a great shop for the tourists stopping for a few days. It has everything you need and a great selection of beer and wine. Free parking and a cash machine outside. They have the coffee and hot pastries too.

A convenient little Co-op store, nearby several car parks. The shop carries a limited range of the basic items and essentials, with a good selection of fresh bread. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great shopping experience especially as I'm in a wheelchair and had no problem with getting around and staff happy to help me with anything else that I needed. Really friendly atmosphere and lovely clean shop floor.
