Well doing my shopping today I was asked for id which is completely understandable the lady who spoke to me was quiet rude and said go and get your id her customer service was incredibly poor too I’ve never had any bad experiences here before.i also watched her serve a young man with two energy drinks no id or questions ask

I wouldn't leave this review lightly, but the staff I have encountered in this shop need customer service training urgently. Unless you are aged over 60 the staff will be dismissive, rude and unhelpful. If you are over 60 they will natter with you for many minutes regardless of how many people are waiting to be served.

The store is also filthy and looks very unhygienic. Take a look at the self service checkouts and you'll see them covered in dirt and grime .- and you're expected to put your food here. Gross.

Before I wrote this I looked at previous reviews. WHY is no-one taking notice. I totally agree with all the negative comments. In my experience the manager, (certainly a while back), needed training himself, so no wonder the store is in its present sorry state. Our experience today prompted me to spend precious time writing this. Hopefully one day someone will wake up, get some sort of order, and have a higher expectation from the staff.
However, just occasionally you will get a pleasant and helpful member of staff!

i was asking something simple, the worker argued with me and shouted i’ve seen it happen with lots of other customers as well. the workers should be treating customers with respect not arguing with them and stating that they are wrong. the whole atmosphere of this co op is unwelcoming as well. The workers need to learn how to be a bit more welcoming and respectful to customers.

In principle this should be a great local store as it is in a good location with a decent product range and free parking but everytime I have to go in the shelves are empty and the staff are incredibly rude. To top it off I got overcharged again and had to go back and hang around for ages whilst they found someone to sort it. The store seriously needs better management!

Store items are very expensive and often out of stock.
Café is poor, asked for flat white and got a muddy cup of coffee with no froth.
Girl didn't even clean the steam spout properly between customers so it had encrusted milk on it. Not very hygienic
