I wouldn’t normally give a national chain more or less than a ‘3’ as they are all clones, but ….. this one gets a ‘4’ because of the local bakery that supplies them (Gadsby’s). The bread is astonishingly good (crusty farmhouse loaf) and they also have Gadsby’s cakes.
This sets them apart.
NB: staff have always been pleasant and helpful.

Shop was very busy. The staff were rude. No sorry for the long Waite. And then threw my change at me. Felt like we got the brunt end of the shop being busy.

A very handy and well stocked shop, they have a good range of quailty products (seasonal items too) and there has only been a very small handful of occasions where I haven't found what I needed. A good place to top up on the weekly shopping!

Not G Pettit who went into the store it was me his partner.
If I could give no stars I would. I went into the store today at 12.25pm and was in the queue which consisted of a gent, myself and then a lady after me. A young lad was training (left on his own at the till) needed a manager to come out to authorise a gents purchase which I understood. The manager then promptly went into the next till and completely bypassed me and served the lady after me. I said loudly ‘oh so I’m not in the queue’ left my shopping and walked out. I will never use that store again. I can not believe that this manager felt that this was the appropriate customer service to show to a new member of staff.
