Since moving to Preston farm, the warehouse collection service is absolute nightmare.

If you come to collect anything and you’re the only one here, you find yourself ringing a bell that the warehouse supposedly hear, but take 15minutes plus to come to the gate.
So frustrating because no one acknowledges you either. Not sure why it can’t get passed from the office to someone in the warehouse, or why the office can’t alert the warehouse someone is here.

You find yourself then waiting ages for the collection(which I understand during busy periods). But sometimes you ring it in and hours later it hasn’t been picked so then you have to wait for it to be picked before they bring it to you.

Definitely a few floors in the warehouse system.

Arch & Abbey

Haven't used for a while because of poor service. Put in an order on a Tuesday due to a busy week. Told it would be with me Thursday as they aren't in my area Wednesday. Fine. Thursday, no delivery. Ring up and told it is booked in for delivery Friday. Why? “I don't know". Great, very helpful. Won't be using them again if I can help it.

Old Nelson

Without doubt the worst company I have had to deal with, but, as they have a near monopoly in my area, I am forced to continue dealing with them. Almost every single delivery has items missing or incorrect. They promise they can get you specific brands in when in fact they can't or it takes several months by which time you have sourced it from elsewhere. When you inevitably have deliveries that are wrong the credit and invoicing system is so convoluted and confusing that you will spend hours trying to decipher it when doing your books. They send out of date products. Just as an example, I marked a case that was out of date and was sent the same case twice more subsequently. They regularly smash bottles on the way to you. The website is next to useless as it either displays the wrong price or no price at all and it displays every single product they have ever sold no matter whether they still sell it or not. Pricing changes drastically, arbitrarily and without warning. Absolute farce of a business.

Visiting the old LWC site was hardwork but the new one is an unpleasant experience. Staff are pleasant enough but expect a minimum of a 30 minute wait for your goods to be brought out, 1 hour 30 is my longest wait.
