I had dinner at George Restaurant while visiting Wales, and it honestly turned out to be one of those unexpected gems you’re so glad you stumbled upon. The moment I stepped inside, I loved the cosy atmosphere—warm lighting, wooden beams, and a relaxed buzz that made it feel welcoming without being noisy. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first time there.

The food was simply outstanding. I ordered the slow-cooked lamb shoulder, and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right balance of flavours. You could really taste the quality of the local ingredients. My friend had the pan-seared sea bass, which came with a lovely citrus sauce—light, fresh, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared a sticky toffee pudding, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best I’ve ever had—warm, rich, and absolutely comforting.

We had pre-booked and reserved our sunday roast lunch well in advance. They took allergies well into consideration. Quick service, friendly staff and the restaurant wasn't crowded when we got there. The food was absolutely delicious. We chose the beef option, which too had to be booked almost a week in advance. The beef was tender yet juicy, crispy yorkshire pudding, well seasoned veggies, and a super flavourful gravy. The portions were quite generous too! 10/10, highly recommended.

I can not recommend this place enough. It was honestly the best tasting restaurant I've ever been to. Me and my partner don't eat out often as we feel let down my most places, but I would drive the 2hour journey just to eat here again. The flavours were outstanding and fhe portion sizes were great and did not leave you feeling hungry. Me, my partner and 2 children all had a different meal and each one was phenomenal. Thank you On George for your brilliant service and excellent food. We will be back

Solid four out of five stars. Service was pretty slow - friendly but seemed a bit rushed. I had the mackerel pate for starters, it was good but was looking for a bit more flavour and texture. The skate was excellent and didn't need any extra sauce in my opinion. Wine was good value and the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon blanc were both delicious. The lamb was pretty good and came on a bed of veggies, which is always welcome.

Fair play. Didn't read a review of the place before we went just wandering Tenby looking for somewhere to eat with the toddler for an early dinner. Nice to sit down without any preconceptions and appreciate the food for the quality it is.

The fact they had plenty of vegetarian options for the wife was a big pull but the hake for myself was beautiful with garlic potatoes. The mushrooms in garlic sauce were top draw. A dish that can so often sink into mediocrity was supreme.

Pre- booked a table for two, purely on some very positive reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, fresh made salad, my fillet steak cooked exactly to my request and the quality of all ingredients was obvious to see.
Our waitresses were lovely, one being the owner daughter and we never felt rushed.
Pricing for the menu was reasonable considering the portion size and , as I said the quality!
I fully recommend this exception restaurant!

I love this restaurant. Have visited twice for lunch whilst staying in Tenby. It’s a classy establishment serving great fresh and tasty food whilst being reasonably priced. Such an enjoyable place to eat & drink with friendly staff too ☺️.

Went on bank holiday during festival in Tenby. Had booked long before. Food was excellent. Generous and high quality. Service really pleasant. Definitely an unusual menu. Go if you can. Had prawn cocktail, mushroom stroganoff, stuffed chicken leg, burger, between two adults. Faultless. Well done to the whole team.
