Disappointing.
Was very shocked at the attitude of the pharmacist. My prescription states a particular brand. I've tried other brands & they give me bad headaches/migraines, which is the very reason I take these tablets to prevent headaches/migraines. I've been using this same pharmacy since May 2023 for these tablets & never had an issue until now. This time they gave me a different brand ignoring the notes. As it was the weekend when I needed them I had no choice, but after 3 days with a constant banging headache, I went back to the pharmacy & was told "well we haven't got any of that brand so you'll have to go back to your Dr. & get another prescription. I explained there's a note on the prescription for a reason & asked why they didn't order them in or hand me back my prescription so I could go elsewhere. No response.
I will not use this pharmacy.

Couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery. Booked twice to have my flu jab privately, each time a few days in advance and having to take time off work to go. Went the first date in September to be told the pharmacist hadn't turned up to work and no one else could administer it. So I thought I'll give them a second chance. Booked this appointment last week over the phone with a lady who took all my details. Turned up this morning to be told there was no flu vaccine left. They must have known yesterday they had run out and I'm so mad no one called to at least let me know. Instead wasting my time yet again and having to take more time off work only to be turned away. Honestly a joke. Have given up and will not be returning again.

Worst pharmacy in Ilkeston, gave my prescription to someone else and said someone had picked it up for me. Wouldn't give me the number for the governing body instead gave me the number for their head office and said there is no governing body. Had to go back to the doctors who then sent me back to the pharmacy as they had to fulfil it. I've moved to Evans Pharmacy at Old Station and they have been great.

Boots couldn’t fulfill my prescription for over a month. Called Peak Pharmacy up and they had one item ready immediately and the second for next day collection. No wait, fast and friendly service. I’ve now moved my prescriptions to be sent to Peak instead.

Really bad service .2 day of being told it will ready later .to then be told they have just down loaded it .when he had it in his hand the night before .

Been twice today to pick up my prescription, both times closed when they should have been open. We even phoned up to check opening hours before setting off but on arrival the second time a girl came out to say the pharmacist was late and they couldn’t get hold of them or open without them. So we had two wasted journeys I’m afraid.

Worst pharmacy ever! Terribly slow service and they love to tell you “Please could you come back later in two hours” or “we couldn’t find your prescription” won’t be going again. They never have the items you want in stock.
