We could not been more pleased with our new garden room from Pledge Garden Rooms.. Having been to view a number of rooms and from speaking to many different suppliers it was clear to see David and his team not only provided much higher quality of work but also provided a full turnkey solution and took ownership of the whole project I like many others. From initial discussions through to completion the team were excellent, professional and probably at times cold due to working through the bitter early December mornings.. Anyone looking for a high quality room which can be used throughout the year from a professional company then look no further.

We highly recommend Pledge Garden rooms as a high quality provider of turn key solutions for a garden room.

My work required me to work from home for approx. 60% of the working week and we decided we needed to free up space in our home by moving the office into a dedicated space in our garden. In addition we also wanted the room to be able to function as a summer house, for my pending retirement in 25 years time, so versatility of design, durability and quality of both workmanship and materials were key requirements.

We extensively research all the national and local suppliers of garden rooms and were quickly able to shortlist to three who could be considered based upon the above. After further viewings research and conversations with all three potential suppliers, it was clear that Pledge Garden Rooms were to be our first choice for the following reasons.

1: They took the time to listen to our requirements and to help us design the room to our own requirements. The office is to be used for 12 months of the year and therefore required a high specification for insulation. In addition for my office set up I required a large number of power points in one area, with several other power points around the room, a broadband connection/network point and good lighting.

2: As mentioned above, insulation was a key requirement. The solution that Richard and David provided had the highest amount of insulation available, with no other supplier providing close to the same amount. I would also highlight that as well as the roof and walls being insulated, the floor is also fully insulated.

3:Quality of build. We are were able to eliminate one of the shortlisted suppliers based upon the quality of build. The Pledge Garden Rooms solution is structurally sound and will with minimal maintenance last for many decades. Another area that where Pledge Garden Rooms excelled was the quality of their internal finish. All the internal walls are plastered and were painted to a high standard.

4:Where a lot of suppliers use contractors and sometime different contractors for different stages (e.g. concrete base, timber frame and cladding), Pledge Building Services provide all of the trades and own the build from initial design to handing over of the keys. They also provide the necessary electrical safety certificates, which enables our garden office to be covered as a building by our insurance company.

During the build Richard , David and there team were a pleasure to work with and delivered the full turnkey solution, as in they handed over the keys and all we needed to do was move the furniture in.

The end result for us was a very high-quality garden room, which I have now used for several months, both in hot and cold weather. In hot weather the room remains pleasant to work in and in sub-zero temperatures in the early morning I only need to switch my oil fired radiator on for a short while for the room to be toasty warm. That is the value of a high specification of insulation!

I rarely provide recommendations, but the quality of the service and the garden room warrant my taking the time to write a detailed review.

We remain grateful to Richard, David and their hard-working team for our garden office/summer house that they took the time and effort to build to a very high standard. Having invested several weeks researching the options and viewing garden rooms I am completely assured that we have one of the highest quality garden rooms in existence!
