Just had a lovely Sunday lunch. The staff are lovely and friendly, always a concern for an out of towner. Food was hot, flavoursome and good size portion, and not over priced. Was quiet for a Sunday lunchtime but that's not always a bad thing. Wheelchair friendly and dog friendly, even has a canine menu. Free wifi. Very enjoyable visit.

Found this delightful, family friendly pub by random on Mother’s Day 2023. The owners greeted us with a big smile on their face. A busy Sunday lunch service, yet their service was impeccable. Best chips we’ve ever had! Please order these. Sunday roast was great too. Slow cooked until the meat melts. It was a lovely dining experience for us.

A very good traditional pub with a genuine warm welcome from the landlord and team. A great traditional coal fire was going well to keep all warm and cozy. Good beers and ciders on tap. The food was superb with tastes to suit all.

Nice village pub to pop into on route to the lake or just passing through, has the feel of a friendly local pub , I only had a beer but looks good for pub games like skittles and darts . The food isn't all day so cant comment on that. It was a weekday afternoon so very quiet with 4 locals and the barman. Lots of parking spaces too.

3 great meals at The Red Lion, staff were amazing finding a great table for us with are anxious rescue spaniel and other spaniel. Quick walk from Chew Valley caravan park. Menu suited us and particularly enjoyed my 5 bean chilli and lemon posset. Will definitely visit if in area again.
