This store is very bad for your health in terms of best before dates, on 13.05.2024 i bought something from here, 3 product and were expired qnd today when i gone to buy some bamba puffs again they were having on sale expire product from december 2023 and with march 2024, from what i can figure out Sainsburys doesnt care about people health.

Tried to use self service till using my bank card. It beeped, started processing my card, then cut out.(My card is regularly declined for no reason but only ever in this store.....usually fine second time I try...)
Assistant came to reset; told me I need to wait for the beep; pointed out I did; only to be told I hadn't waited long enough! Maybe it is me.....or maybe it's the machines? Either way I prefer service with a smile rather than an unnecessary telling off!
Poor customer service.

Poor service. Ziad one of the staff members just watched us at the checkout till. Didn't serve us until someone else came in the queue. No hello. Nothing. Customer service course wouldn't go amiss.

This is my closest local supermarket but I don’t enjoy visiting.

The prices seem very high even for an “express” store. Only co-op are higher.

The staff seem under trained and are more like to be chatting to each other rather than helping customers.

I use self service or the self scan app. The main checkout rarely has more than one person on it even when there are queues. It’s the same person looking after the self checkout, so you can be waiting a while if you need any assistance (age verification etc).

More training needed.
