We had dinner here last Sunday with our 2 young children (plus our dog). The food was delicious and the staff were so lovely! We had a mixture of Lebanese and English dishes. The menu also included lots of vegetarian options. We will definitely be going back again 🙂

The chef and staff at this pub were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the beer good. The chef even provided some complementary items, such as the latest lentil dish he was introducing soon (which was lovely).

We will recommend this pub / restaurant to our family and friends without doubt.

Friendly staff, happy to make menu recommendations and really accommodating. We got a selection of nibbles as a shared starter, all really tasty. The venison scotch egg (with a runny yolk) was a particular highlight! Did note limited range of non-alcoholic adult drinks (only Heineken 0) so car drivers stuck to soft drinks. Unfortunately we were so stuffed from our starters and mains that we didnt get to sample the pudding menu but there was plenty that peaked my interest! Will be returning!

We had a family get together here last Saturday lunch time. A delightful ancient setting, cosy with 2 open fires, wonderful food-I has Sea Bass, fantastic! Friendly staff, the cook even came out to chat about seasonings used in the Shawarmas.

First visit to the green man pub and all I can is it absolutely won’t be the last!! The food is quite possibly some of the best pub food I have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious, fresh and generous portions ! Lovely pub, friendly staff and great food - what more could you want! Will be back to try their Sunday roasts !

Lovely local pub, near Hurst and Twyford. Had the turkey with all the trimmings from the December menu. Everything was beautifully fresh and home made, thanks for a lovely lunch.

Meeting friends for lunch and not been to the Green Man in a long while and it's changed hands since last visit.

I make lots of food fresh, so when eat out I hope it's on par or better than I can make myself.

Sadly much did not taste 'home made'. If it was then would be surprised, as all of us thought the same. It was ok, we ate and paid but would not return.

I have given a 3 out of 5 as the team were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The location is lovely and service was good. We have some excellent food pubs in the local area, GM will need to up it's game on the food though.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch but was really surprised that they don't offer Sunday lunch. Not been for a couple of years when the roast was one of the best locally. What raised alarm bells was the empty car park on arrival. Lovely pub that is has clearly lost its way.
