I couldn’t be more thrilled with my experience! I opted for the small plates, and each dish was an absolute delight—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails were equally impressive, crafted to perfection and incredibly refreshing, making them the perfect accompaniment to my meal.

The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, creating an inviting space to unwind. I especially appreciated that the venue is dog-friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

Overall, The Wild Goose is a gem in Aberdeen that offers delicious food, amazing cocktails, and a warm and welcoming environment. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

First time for us but certainly won’t be the last. Booked a table for some brunch on the strength of the menu we’d looked at online. Morgan looked after our order and was super friendly and polite. Pastries are made on site by hand (as is the jam) and looked (and tasted) amazing. I ordered the Drunk Sausage from the brunch menu and it was, by some distance, one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality, affordable and locally sourced cuisine.

Great atmosphere and amazing service! The staff really know their stuff. The orange wine It might not be for everyone’s taste, but we actually really enjoyed it alongside our cheese board. The food looked fab too, so I’ll definitely be heading back to try more. Can’t wait!

2 cousins meeting for a catch up and right from the start with a very warm welcome at the door, I felt right at home. I was shown to a lovely table in front of thd rounded window overlooking the train lines and Union Terrace Gardens. The room itself is light and airy.
Cousin duly arrived and we very quickly put our order in from the all day brunch menu. I had the savoury bread & butter pudding with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, mushrooms and spinach whilst cousin had same base but topped with steak and halloumi cheese. Lovely waitress kept checking in that we had everything we needed. We ordered a delicious organic (seemingly no hangover with organic!) Chillean Viognier. We even managed to squeeze in a pudding at the end. All their pastries are made on the premises and our pastry of mulled wine soaked plums atop a gorgeous custard was divine.
All in all, a delightful time was had and i shall be back.
Another added bonus is that you can book online for the date and time you want and also where you want to sit..excellent!

Went to Wild Goose and instantly felt like I’d wandered into a cooking show where I was the lucky judge. The scallops came out looking so fancy I nearly apologized before eating them, the Aberdeen angus fillet was so perfectly pink it should have its own Instagram account, and the salmon starter was basically a love letter from the sea. Even the drink had its own logo on top and my coffee back home feels very underdressed now. If food could strut down a runway, this is where it would rehearse.

The food was faultless, absolutely delicious and the service impeccable but the cocktails were a let down. We could not taste any alcohol at all in them whatsoever. The salty ‘nd sweet just tasted of coffee and the nippy sweetie of diluting juice. There was definitely no liqueur, rum or tequila in those drinks. The food however is worth visiting for.

The food was excellent, the cocktails were exquisite and the service was impeccable. Love the fact that they try to source local ingredients for the menus. The North East of Scotland has a lot to offer and it's great to see it reflected in both the food and drinks menus. We had the Crab Toast, Smoked Salmon and the Charcuterie plate. All of which were delicious, but highly recommend the Crab Toasts. The waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and attentive without being overbearing, always appearing at the right time to take our orders or replenish our drinks. The cocktails were very, very good. Highlight for me was the 'High Tide'. Can't recommend this place enough, a laid-back atmosphere with excellent tipples, a refreshing addition to the centre of Aberdeen. We'll definitely be back, as often as we can!
