I have used Simpleway as my footwear supplier for about 30 years. They were great to begin with as the shoes were so comfortable and with my ‘problematic’ feet they were able to make small adjustments to suit my needs. I have had my footwear reburbished by them many times which is reasonable value considering the price of a new pair.
There is a downside however. Because the footwear is stitched all over, they are not water proof in any sense. They seem to have started using a thicker leather in recent years and this means for me that I now have to have a ‘breaking in’ period which was not the case when I first had this footwear. They are however, very accommodating and try to adjust when the order is placed to get the best fit. I feel that the soles should last longer than they do especially as the soles can not be repaired just replaced. There was a time a couple of years ago when the wear life shortened further and that was due to a change in supplier I think. Back to about one year for me but then I do wear them every day.
Lately delivery has been a bit extended but I think that may relate to maternity leave. I was very disappointed when my details were confused with my 10 year deceased mother at a different address. This should not have happened!
Overall not bad and I will continue to use.
