Great experience at Up & Running Basingstoke. Needed some new running shoes but had few expectations about what to buy, the staff were knowledgeable, not at all pushy and silent tone getting to know my running needs, terrain, preferences, running gait and history of shoes. I was able to try multiple pairs of shoes, try running and review style via a video recording. The staff took on board feedback for each shoe and suggested suitable alternatives. I’d definitely return and recommend for others. Good selection and stock too.

Popped in today after a few years away from the sport. Needed a new pair of a running shoes. Absolutely blown away by the product knowledge provided by the staff who were friendly and helpful. Smashing customer service and I will be recommending to friends. 🙂

I drove from Andover after reading their reviews. Did not disappoint. Fantastic customer service. Had gait analysis done as about to embark on the Cto5K challenge. Not only did I get a great service and deal on my first pair of running shoes, I also had some great advice too. These guys really know their stuff! Very impressed. Really impressed with the service I received instore. All the staff were really helpful, explained what I needed, really made sure what they were recommending was right for me. I wanted a different colour which they didn’t have in stock, so Paul the manager found stock in a different store and got it in for me. So helpful and so kind, really went above and beyond. 100% will get my next trainers from here too.

Up and Running Basingstoke have become a massive support for me on my running journey. After only starting running again last may I have had the privilege of joining a few of their SRG runs which are so community focused (even if I am the slowest one there) and felt their continued support and community at out local park run.
The best thing is when I make my long run routes so I pop into the shop and always get a warm welcome from whoever is working. They are the perfect pit stop filling me with encouragement to complete my trainings.
Paul and his team are super knowledgable and have answered so many questions from me and helped me find 3 pairs of trainers that I absolutely adore as well as advising me on so many other things that have helped me along the way.

my experience with this shop was absolutely amazing. I was new to running with a recent recovered knee injury from using the wrong shoes. up&running did everything to ensure I was getting the correct trainers, they have treadmills in store with cameras to study your technique. then they gave me options from different brands to try and choose. They gave me a great deal and I was very happy!
