One of the ladies who works here is always so lovely and a joy to see. There's a great selection of food and fresh produce outside. Sometimes its a little on the expensive side, but that can be expected in a corner shop. I don't understand all the terrible reviews, as I've only ever had nice experiences

Moved into the area recently and I’ve been going to this shop for a couple of months now. The staff have been reasonably friendly. Sometimes they can be a bit standoffish but so far no one has been rude. Will update my review if that changes! Price wise they are significantly better than Woody’s.

Avoid like the plague, not just unfriendly but constantly rude to customers, especially and more than anyone, the owner. Don't give them your money lots of nice shops literally just down the road

So rude. The old man in the shop was literally screaming at us to get out of the shop as we were waiting for uber to pick us up even though we just done shopping there. He said we were blocking the access to the till while there was literally nobody else there that needed access to the till. Didnt matter to him the temperature was on minus and we had to wait in the cold. There is literally no need to yell at anyobody in any case and especially not at your customers in this situation. To be fair after leaving the temperature outside felt much warmer than the frosty atmosphere inside this shop.

I’ve lived 2 minutes away for a couple of years and have slowly stopped going there. The two older gents are friendly but everyone else - especially a lady who is sometimes working - are very impolite. A simple hello and thank you is all that’s needed but they constantly struggle with this. They also offer a send/returns service but seem to resent having to do it. Although it’s a smaller shop, I’d recommend going up the road to Woody’s.

I've lived around here for ages, everywhere around here is quite expensive so that's no surprise. It's pretty well stocked, and I don't really think the staff are particularly rude. Some of them, in fact, on the right day, can be quite funny. I don't really understand the bad reviews, I've certainly never been short changed or lost my cue place. Sometimes they're a bit grumpy, but no worse than anywhere else.

I have use ebay click and collect service twice. Both times the service was awful...you can feel like the workers giving you the favour to find your package. Other time they mistake my package and send me back home saing "you come back later",as the costumers start to queue to the teal. I don't understand why they providing such as service if is so dificoult for them to deal with....Service very impolite.

Poor service here.
People work here can’t help or respond to a simple question because of language barrier or at least it seems that way.
One single shop, my queue was given to someone else then I was overcharged. When tried to explain, nobody could understand me and it was pointless!
Do ask for a receipt here and keep your eyes OPEN!
Small minded people who can’t conduct decent business.
