Good range - no pun intended - of a huge variety of products. Good value too for the most part. Being one of their larger stores, it has 2 floors of products.
Parking can be challenging due to how busy the various outlets on the site but we usually manage ok.

I love The Range as a company. They have pretty much everything you need and at a reasonable price. When I lived in Norfolk, I regularly shopped there with no issues. Since moving to Eastbourne, I have become disabled am now a wheelchair user. The Eastbourne store is a nightmare to navigate. I couldn’t get down most of the aisles due to immovable objects: a massive erected gazebo, pillars and piles of heavy stock. Add to that the boxes and cages for restocking, and this became an incredibly stressful experience for me. My neck hurts from reversing myself out of aisles and tight spots. Luckily I had my husband with me and waited for him to assist me. We spoke to the manager on duty and she was really apologetic and said that they hear it a lot. They get sent too much stock for a small store. I felt sorry for her as she has to deal with upset and stressed customers and there’s very little they can do. Listen up powers that be. You are saying you don’t care about your customers OR your staff. Stupidly I spent £60, but it will be a long time until I return. The extra star - instead of a one star review- is for your manager who was lovely.

Trying to cancel an order. Phone number rings out. Live chat isn't answered. Filled out an online form then got an email to say 'sorry we missed you - this conversation will be closed due to high call volumes'. Appalling service!! More people 'working' from home? Nice weather, probably all on Eastbourne beach. Am heartily sick of this sort of 'service' these days, from most companies. Can't go to the store - I live over 200 miles away. Will have to resort to snail mail. Unbelievable.
If they've got such 'high call volumes' there are plenty of people on benefits who I'm sure would like a job and can help out.

The Range sell everything from food to hardware. They also have the WilKo brand in store. I go there to buy smelly candles, Christmas decs, art supplies, bedding and throws all at reasonable prices.

Very difficult to get round as stock blocked aisles and shelves where I might've wanted to look. Very rude (female) manager/supervisor who refused to give way and stepped back to block otherwise clear aisles to make customers double back whilst smirking. Love spending money at The Range, but not this one!

The first time I visited Eastbourne, I was amazed by the wide range of products available. From household accessories to pillows, cushions, cleaning supplies, beauty products, and even garden furniture and accessories, there was something for everyone. I could have spent the entire day there. The staff were so friendly and lovely, making the experience even better!

Staff are very slow at the checkouts. I had the misfortune tobe served by the most miserable member of staff, who made Victor Meldrew look like Father Christmas.
